Who We Are |
Clarenceville Free Methodist church is a evangelical Christian community church that believes in being active in the community in which it sits, We believe in the Bible as the true word of God, and it is the bases of our belief and how we should live and interact with our fellow man, and more importantly we believe the Bible teaches us everything we need to know about God the Father and Son and Holy Spirit. That Salvation is found only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ who die for the sin of the world.

Our History |
Clarenceville Free Methodist church was first started back in 18 hundreds and is the first free Methodist church founded in Quebec. Our Theology is based on the Wesleyan and Arminian teaching. The free Methodist roots are found in the holiness movement back in England with John and Charles Wesley, the word Methodist comes from the method of living that the members of the Holiness movement lived, When the Methodist church found it's way across the pond in in the early 1800s. In the 1860 the movement added the word free , and adopted the new name Free Methodist church , believing the all sound be free from slavery, Free from pew tax, promoted freedom of worship in the Holy Spirit, Free from secret society and oath bound societies( particularly that of the masonic lodge), freedom from the abuse of ecclesiastical authority, and from all members to experience the freedom of the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
